Welcome to The North Rim Grand Canyon Kaibab Lodge

The Kaibab Lodge is in the heart of the North Kaibab National Forest, just five miles from the north-rim entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park. Because our altitude is 8,770 feet above sea level, summers at Kaibab Lodge are cool, providing a perfect hideaway from the heat on the surrounding desert. 

Kaibab Lodge is an easy drive to several national parks, monuments, and sites. We’re located five miles from the gate to the Grand Canyon National Park means that you can leave the lodge and be on a hiking trail at the rim in less than half an hour. In two hours, you could be at Zion National Park. In two-and-a-half hours, you could be at Bryce National Park. Other popular adventure destinations nearby include Lake Powell, Marble Canyon, Lees Ferry, Antelope Canyon, and the Wave. 

Because of our unique location, Kaibab Lodge is a Dark Sky lodge. Perched at the edge of the meadows, you’ll be enthralled with the night sky here! This year, we are adding telescopes to our collection of things guests can do while visiting our lodge. 

Due to our remote location in the National Forest, you’ll find lots of hiking and four-wheel drive trails to explore. Kaibab Lodge provides a unique get-away-from-it-all location to make memories with friends and family. (But don’t worry! On lodge grounds, you can still connect to the outside world through our Starlink satellite system.)
