How To Get To Kaibab Lodge At The North Rim Of The Grand Canyon

The Kaibab Lodge is opened seasonally from May 15 – November 5, is located just a few minutes drive from the North Rim of The Grand Canyon. 

From Salt Lake City: 6 Hours

  1. From Salt Lake City, take I-15 South toward Las Vegas
  2. Stay on I-15 South for about 250 miles until you reach St. George, Utah
  3. Take Exit 6 for Bluff Street in St. George.
  4. Turn left onto E St George Blvd and continue for about 4 miles.
  5. Turn right onto S River Rd and continue for about 3 miles.
  6. Turn left onto UT-9 East and continue on this road for about 50 miles.
  7. You’ll pass through the stunning Zion National Park, where the road winds through stunning canyons and tunnels.
  8. After exiting Zion National Park, continue on UT-9 East for about 10 miles.
  9. Turn left onto US-89 South and continue for about 43 miles.
  10. Turn right onto UT-12 West and continue for about 16 miles.
  11. Turn left onto US-89A South and continue for about 31 miles.
  12. Turn right onto AZ-67 and continue for about 45 miles.
  13. You’ll arrive at Kaibab Lodge, which is located just off AZ-67.

  1. From St. George, Utah, take I-15 North for about 5 miles.

  4. You’ll pass through the stunning Zion National Park, where the road winds through stunning canyons and tunnels.
  5. After exiting Zion National Park, continue on UT-9 East for about 10 miles.
  6. Turn left onto US-89 South and continue for about 43 miles.
  7. Turn right onto UT-12 West and continue for about 16 miles.
  8. Turn left onto US-89A South and continue for about 31 miles.
  9. Turn right onto AZ-67 and continue for about 45 miles.
  10. You’ll arrive at Kaibab Lodge, which is located just off AZ-67.

  1. From Phoenix, take I-17 North toward Flagstaff.
  2. Stay on I-17 North for about 125 miles until you reach Exit 337 for AZ-89A North toward Sedona
  3. Take Exit 337 and turn left onto AZ-89A North.
  4. Continue on AZ-89A North for about 22 miles until you reach the roundabout in Sedona.
  5. At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on AZ-89A North.
  6. Continue on AZ-89A North for about 45 miles until you reach the town of Flagstaff.
  7. In Flagstaff, turn right onto US-89 North and continue for about 12 miles.
  8. Turn left onto AZ-64 West and continue for about 55 miles.
  9. You’ll pass through the stunning Grand Canyon National Park.
  10. Turn left onto AZ-67 and continue for about 4 miles.
  11. You’ll arrive at Kaibab Lodge, which is located just off AZ-67.

  1. From Albuquerque, take I-40 West toward Gallup.
  2. Stay on I-40 West for about 134 miles until you reach Exit 201 for NM-53 toward Grants.
  3. Take Exit 201 and turn left onto NM-53 West.
  4. Continue on NM-53 West for about 53 miles until you reach the town of Ramah.
  5. In Ramah, turn left onto NM-53/NM-371 and continue for about 4 miles.
  6. Turn right onto NM-371 and continue for about 15 miles.
  7. Turn left onto AZ-264 and continue for about 21 miles.
  8. Turn right onto AZ-87 North and continue for about 18 miles.
  9. Turn left onto AZ-264 and continue for about 3 miles.
  10. Turn right onto AZ-89 North and continue for about 19 miles.
  11. Turn right onto AZ-67 and continue for about 45 miles.
  12. You’ll arrive at Kaibab Lodge, which is located just off AZ-67.
